Welcome to our New Starters page where you will find lots of information about our school.

We are looking forward to welcoming our new starters in September.

We would like to invite the parents of the children starting school in September 2025 to a meeting on Wednesday 7th May at 6pm in the school hall.

The purpose of the meeting will be to welcome you to our school. You will find out about our induction programme, and arrangements for starting school in September 2025.

We look forward to seeing you at this meeting.

As well as using the website links above to access activities and games, we have placed below some activities your child may like to complete:

Body Percussion - Have a go at clapping out different beats and rhythms.

Farm Themed Cutting Skills Activity - Have a go at cutting around the different shapes and make your own farm scene.

Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt - Whilst out on a walk see if you can spot these items and tick them off.

Environmental Sounds Home Challenge - Listen to the different sounds you can hear inside your house or in the garden. What can you hear?

Bunny Hop Pencil Control Worksheets - See if you can follow the bunny hop lines with your pencil.

The Gingerbread Man Pattern Tracing - Trace over the patterns on The Gingerbread Man. Now colour them in to make your Gingerbread Man colourful.

Toys Home Learning Challenge Activity - Have a look at these challenges all about toys. How do your toys work? What is your favourite toy and why?

Pizza Shape Colouring Activity - Can you colour the shapes the right colour on the pizza? What are the names of the shapes?

Initial Letter Sounds - Have a look at the picture and see if you can say what each item is. Can you say what letter sound these items begin with?

Pencil Control Activities - Have a go at copying over the lines with your pencil. Take your time and see if you can stay on the lines.

Under the Sea Counting - Have a go at counting the items that live under the sea. How many are there? Can you have a go at writing the number?

Scissor Cutting Skills - There are different sheets that could be printed off but if you can't print them out they can be drawn on a piece of paper.

I Spy and Counting Activity - Have at go at counting the different minibeasts. How many are there of each insect?

Number Recognition Activity - Have a go at counting the objects and pointing or circling the right number.

Number Formation - Have a go at tracing over the numbers.

Floating or Sinking - With an adult, have a go at this experiment and see whether the different materials float or sink. Have a guess before you try.

Minibeasts Colour by Number Activity - Have a go at colouring the parts of the insects the right colour depending on the number.

Plant and Flower Hunt - Can you see what flowers and plants you can spot when you are out for a walk.

Superhero Counting - Can you count how many superheroes there are? Can you have a go at writing the number?

Match the Farm Animals - Can you match the farm animal to their baby?

Summer Dot to Dot - Have a go at joining the dots together in the right order to complete the summer pictures

Summer Counting Activity - Can you count how many summer items there are? Have a go at writing the numbers in the circles.

Dinosaur Themed Number Formation - Have a look at the different numbers, can you recognise any? Have a go at tracing over the top of the numbers from the red dot.

Pencil Control Activity Sheet - Carefully trace over the patterns to connect the dots on the pictures. Can you finish each pattern?

Rainbow Experiment - Have a go at making your own rainbow with this fruit sweet rainbow experiment
