Our homework Vision  

Our homework strategy is designed to ensure that every child develops a deep understanding of essential skills, laying a strong foundation for success across the wider curriculum. We are committed to empowering our children with the belief that consistent effort and purposeful practice lead to meaningful progress and achievement.

To foster a positive attitude toward learning, we’ve integrated a reward system that makes the homework experience both enjoyable and motivating. This approach encourages children to take pride in their efforts and celebrate their growth.

We also recognise the demands placed on families in today’s fast-paced world. That’s why our homework model emphasises independence, helping children build self-reliance with minimal parental involvement. Each week, there are core tasks that are mandatory, alongside optional activities that connect to our reward system, giving children both structure and choice.

At school, we assess progress every half term and provide targeted interventions for those who need additional support, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
