Diversity
Our Diversity vision
Holy Trinity Church School is committed to serving its community and surrounding areas. We recognise the multicultural and multifaith nature of the United Kingdom and understand the crucial role our school plays in promoting these values.
We are an inclusive school for all.
At Holy Trinity Church School, we believe that our explicit teaching of Diversity (alongside our PSHE Curriculum and teaching of British Values) will enable all children in our school to accept and respect themselves and others around them. Our Diversity Curriculum tightly links in with our teaching of PSHE and British Values.

Each half term, the whole school will focus on a particular theme. At the start of each half term, KS1 and KS2 will have two separate Worships to explore the overall theme for the half term ahead. A follow-up lesson in each class will then take place in our Community Time session.
We live in a multicultural and multifaith country and we are diverse in many ways. Therefore, 6 key themes have been created to explore how widely different we all are. These themes are taught in the following order;
- Autumn Term 1 - Our families.
- Autumn Term 2 - Our brains.
- Spring Term 1 - Our appearances.
- Spring Term 2 - Our cultures.
- Summer Term 1 - Our religions.
- Summer Term 2 - Our ideas/opinions.
